of Memorial Day, I had the pleasure of watching Readings From Howard Zinn's "Voices of a People's History of the United States" on Democracy Now.
It was such a strong reminder that some of the most extraordinary things about America are the complex voices that have come out of its greatest mistakes and bloated self importance, listening to the voices of these people that make up our joined history reminds me of the inner fire that marks our humanity, and I would argue, the inner knowledge of being Created for living in a better and truer way than the path we have been on.
Listen for yourself here.
